Sending txts via Uconnect + Android 4.3

Sending txts via Uconnect + Android 4.3
I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie with the 8.4AN radio unit.
I use a Verizon HTC One running Android 4.3 fully stock and not modified.
The voice system accepts my requests for texts and when I say SEND, it says SENT on the screen and all appears well.
However, when I look at the HTC One phone itself, it shows a clock over the txt message indicating it is in PENDING SEND STATUS.
But....the recipients do get the text messages.
So I called Uconnect and was told no one ever heard of this before.
I am glad the txts go out, but they stay in the phone in PENDING SEND status forever until deleted.
Anyone else see this or notice it?
