Default Factory 20's with 4in lift…?

Been thinking about a 4 inch lift for my 09 1500, the big question for me though is can i run the factory alloy 20's (not the chrome clad ones) and 295/65r20's with a 4in lift and not have clearance problems with either the upper control arm, and also the outer-tie rod ends interfering with the wheel since the rod-ends are basically sitting 4 inches higher on the steering knuckle…?
Im sure the lift kit companies would design their kits to work with factory wheels however in my experience working at a dealership i have seen aftermarket wheels with very similar off-set and backspacing contact the outer tie-rod ends and spacers had to be added. Im not goin down that road.
Thanks for any input.

Not likely... you may need to get some 1/4" Spacers. I've been running 35x12.5'sR20 on my stock 20's for 4 years now with the spacers and no problems. The closest point is the tire to the knuckle. If you have narrow tires you might be fine, I used to have procomp Xtreme A/T's 12.5" wide, I now have Nitto Trail grapplers at 12.5" wide and with the more agressive lug/sidewall pattern they damn near touch, no room for error on the knuckle. Less than 1/8" clearance
