I haven't seen any I liked as well as the stock ones. I use the slide on ones from **** for the times I am towing. Work well for me.

I know there are plenty of 3rd gen guys who have used aftermarket.
Complaints: Mirrors start to bounce around after time and then start falling down. The sockets that hold the mirrors in place must not be too good.
That is the complaint by majority. I've heard it plenty of times.

You can find several sellers online that sell OEM for ~$100 more per set than aftermarket. I would try to find best possible price and pony up for OEM.

Depending on the year of your truck why not check local junk yards and see what you can find? Might be the cheapest way to go and you know what your getting, just my .02.
