I'm looking for a set of the rugged style bolt pattern flare with a smaller coverage compared to bushwacker. Example instead of 2 1/2 inches I would like 1 to 1 1/2 inch of coverage. I don't want my tires to be swallowed by flare.

 

I have the Bushwacker Pocket Style, which has 2.5" of coverage. At the very top of the fender, it is even with the tires. It kind of tappers down as you go down the radius.

I have some body lift so there is enough of a gap that the tires are not swallowed.

I'm not sure I've ever seen narrower flares with the bolt-on look.

 

If you leave some of the tire protruding, this will cause "roostertailing" on wet roads & doing this isn't legal in some areas - the province in Canada where I live has this law, so you might want to check out the local regs.

 

Some states even limit the amount of tire that you can have protruding past the edge of the fender. Not in the south though! lol You can do almost anything you want down here.

One of the reasons I put them on was to minimize water/dirt spray.
