2010 Ram 3500 Winter Kit Help
I live up in MT...just replaced the 2 batteries. Been trying to find the winter kit for the batteries. Apparently the series 94 batteries are 38" total...so I need a 40" electric battery blanket. I ordered the factory ones and they are 4" too short. I've called around to many dealerships and they can only come up with a 28-36" battery warmer...which will not fit correctly. The OEM#82300778 from Mopar factory parts does not fit. Anybody run into this on the 4th Gen trucks with the series 94 batteries?
I have been told that there was a Winter kit available that housed the blankets and the block heater in one harness including the winter front mask. Genos garage had something like that but when I called they did not know what I was talking about.
Any help much appreciated. ..

When i had my Cummins Ram i used heaters from Wolverine on the batteries. https://www.wolverineheater.com/Sear...Search=BATTERY I also used their oil pan heaters on my not only my Cummins Ram but my 06' Hemi as well. Oil pan heaters are much more effective at helping with cold starts then a coolant heater. I mounted an outlet box behind the front bumper and plugged in all 4 heaters and then had the bumper mounted plug from Geno's. When the temps stayed above the single digits i would unplug the battery heaters and only use the coolant and oil heaters.
I live in alberta and I don't know anyone that uses a battery warmer on their diesel truck. The newer trucks start so good in the cold now there's really no need to even plug in the block heater, other then to assist in a faster warm up time.
What type of insulation or heater was on the original batteries that you are replacing, why do you think you need to add a warmer?
