fog light and headlight adjustments on 14
Hello. Let me start by saying I have a 14 ram 5.7L express blackout edition 4x4 which comes with the fog lights and the black sport projector lights. I kept getting flashed left and right when driving with low beams and fogs on. Well today I had to follow my girlfriend in to town to get her 4wd fixed and by the time we left it was dark. So I told her I would follow her and call her to have her tell me what the flashing is for. I know my lights are bright but she said they were bright but not bad until her truck was lower than mine. So like she crested a hill and was going down and then I crested it. She said they were bright but not horrible. She said "try the high beams.....holy crap those are bad turn them off" lol. Anyways she said maybe it's the fogs. So I turned them on and apparently my drivers side points right up at her mirror but the passenger side was fine. Bingo. So we got home and looked and noticed that the lense on the passenger side has a gap between the lense and the plastic air dam where you can fit your finger in between. The drivers side has no gap so it's up against the plastic air dam.
1-Is there any way to adjust this gap?
2-And also anyone adjusted the fogs up or down?
3 - headlight adjust screws....i read there are arrows stamped on the metal under the hood near holes (I have seen these) but it said the adjustments were for vertical and that the horizontal screw was behind or near the grille edges. But looking at the arrows shows 2 per side on the top. Is one of these not for the headlights? Or maybe highs and lows adjustment? Thanks and sorry for the long post.

For the headlights...
Park on a level surface with the lights pointed at a vertical surface like a wall or garage door. That should give you a good view of where the lights are adjusted. Put a piece of tape on the wall at the center of each beam. Then adjust however you want them to go. This will allow you to see how far things are moving.
The headlight adjuster screws for up/down are on the inner fenders. It is the hole closest to the front on the outer row of holes. If you look in with a light you can see a torx-head screw inside. Turn counter-clockwise to lower, clockwise to raise.

As for the foglight, the bracket might be bent. If I recall, I've heard of that happening before. They're pretty low and if you bump a curb or something they can bend. Look underneath the plastic bumper cover and see what you can see. You can probably bend things back to the right position.

Ok thank you. I was plowing snow with the bumper on my way home one day....that could have done it. That's the only time it could have happened after I bought it. So maybe a test driver in the first 17 miles of its life... i haven't parked near curbs in awhile and the height would have to be a big one anyways lol. I had aftermarket headlight assemblies on my f150 and had to align those. Got pretty good at aligning them at the same height but had to adjust the height a few times. Headlights are good but the one fog light is way out of whack. But somehow it got bent forward...the one out of whack has no gap between light and air dam. Thank you for the info. I will be getting under it today or tomorrow to look.
Found out my truck is missing stuff even tho I bought it new... missing wheel key, the spring and end that adjusts the fog light on the drivers side. They had the screw wedged in there to hold the bottom of the foglight pushed out so it was pointed up. I pulled the screw out and had a nut that fit on it so it's aimed as far down as it can go until I get the other pieces. I can't align it until I get that spring. Gonna be calling up the dealership to complain about things missing on a new vehicle on their lot. Wheel key is supposed to be zip tied to the jack. The jack is there but the zip tie was just moving around and no wheel key.
