Default Brake Line Question

Hey guys, was doing some post-winter maintenance on my 2010 Ram 1500 and noticed something hanging from the bottom of my truck. After further inspection, it appears that my brake lines are freely hanging down. I was wondering any of you have a picture of how they should look/be mounted. Nothing is popping out for me... I have attached a few pictures via Dropbox of the situation. Hopefully they work.

Thank you everyone in advance.

Your parking brake cable is loose because you need to adjust the tension. Everything looks normal to me.

In my area the parking brake actuator linkages seize and the cables can't retract. If you use your parking brake or ever want to use it you will need to find out what has happened there, problem is, the shop (or you, if capable) will need to remove the rear brakes and rotors just to see what the problem is, so be ready to spend some money.

Mine hangs like that too, keep meaning to take a look at it. I never use it, so I doubt that it has anything to do with an adjustment - more likely something that was supposed to keep it hanging has rusted/fallen off.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I took it in the dealer and they claim that its normal. Said they even compared it to a new Ram and they both looked identical so I just had them tighten it up for me. I guess there was never a bracket or clip that holds it up like I expected.

I never noticed it before and it appeared to be hanging really low IMO... Glad it turned out to be a 'minor' fix.

@jkeaton, thanks for moving to the proper section. Posted from my phone and apparently it didn't work too well...

Do you think if you get the chance, you could post a picture of it?

Thanks again for the help.

I don't use a picture sharing site, so I'll try to do it here.
