Default Ram 2500 electrical issues

Hello,
Just bought a 2009 ram 2500 4x4 hemi and I am having a few electrical issues... Just wondering if they might be connected in some way or if I should troubleshoot them independently.
1) Low beam lights do not work but high beams do... I have replaced the bulbs with no luck and as far as I can tell there is no fuse. I have a light switch on order.
2) Electronics do not turn off when I remove the key and open the drivers side door. I have to open the passenger side door to get things to shut down. I have a door lock actuator on order.
3) Cruise control dash light turns on but will not set a speed.

I have done some research on the problems individually but I am starting to think all of my problems are connected some how... Ecm issue?? Same fuse?? Let me know what you think. Thanks for the help

What sort of add-on and wired in aftermarket items does it have?

Some trouble codes will inhibit cruise operation even though you see the icon for the OFF/ON.

DO the dome lamps go off/on when you open/close the drivers door?

sounds like your TIPM is going nuts. only takes a little bit of water to get in there and everything goes south. Had to replace mine recently because of all kinds of electrical issues.

The dome lamps do go on and off when I open the door. It was a forest service truck before I got it so they did have a few auxiliary lights hooked up but they were taken off before I got the truck. Haven't had a chance to run a diagnostic on it yet but should be able to soon. If the individual "fixes" don't work i guess the TIPM is my next step?? Any way to tell if the TIPM is bad before I start?

Make sure what they left behind is wrapped up or removed if need be. The connections they spliced into are sealed up and re-spliced if necessary. I would not throw a TIPM at it until you had a gander at the wiring diagrams to confirm it...unless you can get a salvage one.

Open the fuse panel cover and listen for an hissing or humming. Alot of times, a bad TIPM will cause some of the relays to burn out or break all together.
