Default Exhaust for 2014 1500 5.7 hemi

Looking to put an aftermarket exhaust on my truck. want to get some insight on the best brands. And if any of yall have had problems with certain brands. The MDS in my truck is active. I feel that it might mess with the sound as its switching from 4 to 8 cylinders. But My buddy has a Silverado with the MDS and has an aftermarket exhaust. You can't really notice the change in pitch.

But that's a different truck. So I know it can be different. So just looking for a direction to go in on this. Anything is appreciated.

I have the Magnaflow DOD18 from Mufflex. I love the sound, apart from MDS, so I always put it in "gear limiting mode" which deactivates MDS. You can set it for 8 and it's still completely auto, but you get no MDS "blat". On the interstate it's not noticable, so I usually leave it in full auto there.

Once a tuner comes out with a program for the 2015 I intend to get one so I can completely disable MDS, rather than having to do it every time I put it in Drive.

I also have a Magnaflow, which is the DOD14M Mufflex system. Awesome sound and super easy installation. I've had this system on 2 different trucks and it's well worth the money.

I know its a different year, but I had a Magnaflow on my '11 and it had horrible drone on the highway. When I would tow our trailer it was even worse, after an hour of towing everyone would have a headache from listening to it.

I traded that truck in for a '15, it will be getting some form of exhaust upgrade, but it will not be a Magnaflow.

I did a muffler swap on mine with the cherry bomb vortex. The rest of the exhaust is stock. I really do not experience any bad drone with this muffler. You get a little bit when the cruise control is accelerating, but it's not bad at all.
