Default 5.7 exhaust bolt/stud options

I have the dreaded tick on startup in my 09 Hemi Laramie 4x4. It is on the right side, so I assume it is #7 and/or #8 studs from what I have read. Does anyone make any better studs and bolts for these things? I checked ARP, but couldn't find anything. My truck only has 57k on it, but is no longer under warranty and I don't want to have to do this again. Thanks for any help.

Yes, after not driving it, and only for a minute or two.

in my experience with a 08 ram hemi, thats normal buddy

my recent hemi always did the same thing, and i had it for 4 or 5 years and never had a problem with it.

always ticked on start up after about a day of no use. it ticked for seconds then quit.

it always revd up to about 1500 for a min or two then idled down to normal also, idk if yours does the same

hope this helps

in my opinion, i believe the ticking is from where its been sitting and oil settles, then after a day of no use the oil pump has to get the oil through the valleys and what have ya. so its starting up dry. ya know what i mean?

but if u believe its a exhaust leak, then does the truck possibly keep on ticking as your gradually picking up speed? then gets quietter?

or just ticks when you start it up when its been sitting overnight pretty much?

I will listen to it a little better tomorrow, and rev it slightly and note any change. I was also going to pull the fender liner and see if the bolts are tight. I just assumed it was exhaust because of what I have read all over the net.
