Okay you exhaust guys
Okay, im in a dilemma right now and not sure which route to go. I have a 2016 ram sport and I ended up putting on a Mufflex 24 kit on my truck. My biggest reason I put that on was i didnt want the drone to be obnoxious in the cab. Well i got it, although it sounds okay and has no drone, i am really wanting something that would be a lil bit louder. I am still looking for somethin that isnt gonna cause the drone in the cab, but want some more noise. I was looking at a Borla ProXs Muffler, Spintech 6000, or a Carven TR muffler. I dont know if those would be a good choice for me or not. Definitely dont want anything that is gonna be raspy at all. What do you guys think would work for me? Im not set on just those mufflers either, just those were the ones i looked at. I am ready to listen to all your opinions
Although a lot of guys here are probably gonna say otherwise,
In my opinion anything smaller then a 22-24 inch muffler you will
start to introduce drone.. well the 18" mufflers really aren't all that bad
and are much louder then the 22-24" mufflers in the end they still Drone.
With MDS enabled this problem is even worse.
The stock muffler is fine tuned to not only be quiet but also remove
the severe drone when MDS is enabled.
If I were you I would say go with a magnaflow 18" muffler and should be a
best of both world balance.. Just expect a touch of drone at times.
Make sure you leave the little resonators near the exhaust tips in place.
They will help reduce the bark and rasp that you mentioned you don't want.
(The guys who have like 14" mufflers and say they have no drone are just flat out lying or don't know what drone is )

I installed a flowmaster super 50. There is noticeable drone in the cab and there is enough tone to know that it's not stock. I picked something that just loud and quiet enough so I can talk to my kids in the back seat.
