My driver side back door on my 4 door is stuck closed and locked. The lock wouldn't work with any of the buttons since I got it and tonight I tryed to reach in and unlock it as always and it was stuck locked and won't come up even if I pull the inside handle. Any idea how I can get this open to fix it?

 

frozen? Has it been cold where you are and is the truck left outside?

It's very cold but it's not frozen. It's a 2011 1500 4 door. It's always had problems not working with the buttons but now I can't even pull up on the lock to unlock it or even use the inside handle to open it. I just want to get the door open so I can get to the actuator but can't figure out how to get it open.

 

that's a tough one. Maybe a tow truck driver with a slim jim can help.

I messed with the lock some more today and ended up getting it to open. Had to push down and lift the lock **** a bunch to get it to free up. Next thing to do is change the actuator once it's not below 0 out this spring. Thanks for the help everyone
