Default Misfire or is it worse

Reading through the threads I’ve found a few that come close but my truck is confusing everyone that has looked at it. 2009 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. Driving casually in town even on the highway it seems to run fine, no issues no engine lights ect. However if I run the engine through 3500 rpm my check engine light flashes, there is a noticeable loss in power and an obvious misfire/vibration from the motor. Checking the code it says cylinder 5 misfire pending. If I keep pushing it, it locks in the code and the light stays on. Most of the time when I let off the gas after this, the vibration in the motor continues. Strange thing is if I put the truck in neutral shut off the engine and then restart it it goes away. Several of the forums here point to several things that are mechanical but I don’t get why it clears up when I restart it makes me think it’s electrical/computer.
I’ve changed all the plugs, changed the coil pack for 5th cylinder, compression test 165 – 170 for same. I do notice with a stethoscope a very slight tick when touching above cylinder 5 that I don’t hear anywhere else. Makes me suspect a broken valve spring or worn roller bearing. Dealership tells me I need a new cam at $4700, that’s not happening. Any thoughts before I start tearing her down?
Thanks

2009 has the lifetime warranty - are you the original owner?

Cam is probably ok, sounds like you might have a broken valve spring which is alot cheaper to replace than a cam.

Thanks for the replies, Warranty is toast 140K mi and I missed some inspection. I am leaning towards the spring myself. That will be the easiest find.

Switch the coil, injector, and plugs with another cylinder, then run it up. If you have the same code, it is the cam.
