Last night when I got home I parked my truck and went to turn it off but when I went to turn the key to the off position it wouldn't turn all the way, instead stopped just short of the off and key wouldn't come out. I have tried to put it from park to drive a few times but won't come out and also tried to pull the positive off and left it for 2mins but still won't come out? Any ideas?

 

This just happenesd to me. I can still force the fob in and out but my key won't work at all.The ignition unit still works fine. Thinking something broke off inside and preventing the fob from going all the way to the OFF position. I removed the Wireless Ingition Node (WIN), removed the rear cover but was not able to open it to look inside. What I've read is that these Gen 3 WIN are not repairable. Dealer wants $750. I seen them on ebay for $400 with 2 fobs. Hoping someone has a simple solution.
