Default Climate control

Has anyone delt with a 2015 Dodge Ram automatic climate control system that will only blow heat from the right side vent but not the left? I tried automatic, sync, also used the manual up and down control. Temp reads both hi or low but doesn’t function. Right side works fine. Is there a way to reset it

The issue is most likely either a blend door motor that is not functioning properly or a driver's side (if in the US) cabin temperature sensor that is reading incorrectly. You'll need to do some troubleshooting, or pay someone to do the troubleshooting, if you want to better understand which is more likely to be the issue. You might want to start by confirming the temperature sensor and blend door motors are plugged in securely and there is no obvious wiring damage to either. Was there any work performed on this vehicle just prior to the lack of heat? Or were there any symptoms leading up to the issue, or did it just not work one time when you were driving and hasn't worked since?

You can try disconnecting the battery and leaving it disconnected for 5 minutes or so to see if that has any effect, but I doubt it will.

Thanks for your response, I inherited this repair because our Dodge dealer here in our location couldn’t repair the problem. Also a independent shop put in hours of time with no results. I’ll take your advise and start with both of those items. Thanks

Do you have any idea what the dealer and independent shop tried with regards to fixing the issue?

So far no idea, someone said this then that. Usually at this point and they haven’t repaired the problem I go at it like no ones worked on it. Thanks for your input.
