There is no turn signal relay per se. The flasher function is built in to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). I'm unsure what causes the audible click as nothing shows up on the wiring diagram. I suspect the click is a function of the instrument cluster.

Does this mean that I will have to put resistors at every light that I switch to led or is there something on the TIPM that I can change? I am trying to solve my hyper-flashing issue since I changed my rear bulbs out with led bulbs.

You will need to install resistors. Not on every light, only on the ones that flash (turn signals)

Correct, you'll need about a 5 ohm resistor for each of the turn signal bulbs. You'll want probably a 5W are higher power resistor for each instance.

For future reference, including a quick description of why you're looking for the item (want to eliminate hyperflash after installing LED bulbs) will likely get you the answer or answers you're looking for more quickly.

These guys are right for the brute force way, another possible way, though I am not sure what all is available for the 2009, but start searching for ALPHAOBD. I know its super easy on the 2013+ trucks, but there may have been some breakthrough for the 2012 and down trucks. You may be able to turn the threshold up or off for a light out warning with LEDs.

I think you mean AlfaOBD. With the 2013+ LED turn signals and tail lights were a factory option depending on trim level so I'm not surprised it is a programmable option with those. I don't expect the same luck will exist for the 2009.
