The folks at UConnect and Dodge did not think there was any aftermarket or UConnect systems available that I could purchase and install into my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 that would allow the UConnect system to support Apple CarPlay. They claim that the 2015 Dodge Ram trucks had "generation 3" of UConnect 8.4 and that gen 3 would not support CarPlay. I am guessing that since I have the 8.4 screen that there must be a way to purchase a gen 4 UConnect system and have it installed through the harnesses. This can't be impossible.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there anyone selling aftermarket UConnect 8.4 gen 4 systems? Is there another way to do this?
