FS: New Hooker Areo Chamber muffler - $35 - (pics)
I bought this off ebay, thinking my friend with was going to buy it. But then his transmission was going out so he is selling his car.
This muffler retails between $60-80.
- - - - $35 - - - for the muffler FedEx quoted me no more than $20 for shipping to east coast.
-The muffler is a 2" offset inlet, 2" center outlet.
-The body of the Hooker muffler is 5" by 10.25" by 14".
-The muffler weighs 15lbs.
If you want to be different and go with a custom exhaust than this is perfect for you. I would prefer local pick up (Long Beach, CA) but if you pay for shipping than I will ship. I would put the box that you see (with the muffler inside of course) in another box with more packing material.

On the box they compare it to the 2 chamber Flowmaster. They say its quieter than the Flowmaster and flows better.
I like chambered mufflers better than the straight through designs, because I read that they work better on higher compression engines= 8.5 to 1 and higher. This was confirmed by proffessor Overdrive on summit racing.com
I personally think this muffler should be a bit quieter than the Magnaflow and I believe that a better sound would come out of it.
