whats the base time and date settings on the DF site?

everytime I post or see a post, the time can not be matched nor calculated back to GMTand corespond with my local time (MST).

is the servcer just randomly running what it thinks is a time zone or did some one set it to Hawaii time or something??

It's based off the time zone you have selected in your profile.

I can post and the time does not match. not even when I log out and check.

 

You actually have to set the time zone to match yours....because the servers are located in California so the time by default is on California time.... you should be one hour ahead of the server....which means if its displaying 12:51...it should be 1:51...

 

i just posted about 10minutes ago. mind that its 20 NOV 07 @ 1744 hrs.

ok. I now see what ya mean. most servers (that I have seen running a forum) base their time from GMT as "0" instead of its local time zone. oopsy
