ill have to get one specific for my size hard drive?

 

no one that is specific to the bus type that your hard drive uses EIDE or SATA (i think those are the two) sata is a thin wire going into the drive and EIDE is a big flat wire

i work with desktops so i have multiple harddrive hookups inside so when i need to work on a friends i just unplug my slave and plug in his problem drive in its place and work on it that way but w/ laptops you need the external enclosure for them which i even think im going to be getting soon

 

just an update, i got windows reinstalled (after some real fun let me tell ya), got a full semantic installed, avoided myspace like the plague,and have had no new problems.

yea that would work, but the onei was thinking of was actually a case that had a usb and power cable going into it that the drive would be installed into
