I didnt have any of the problems that a small number of people were reporting, and in general it seems much more responsive with SP1

CPU usage fro me went from 44% before SP1 to less than 12% after SP1. The only issue I had was trying to install a new printer after already installing SP1. It loaded the printer and the printer worked, but I needed to uninstall SP1 in order to install the fax and scanning software. Once I loaded the fax and scanning softwarereinstalled SP1 and it's fine. CPU usage is still down around 10% with about 4 applications running at once.

Yep, that's pretty much what happened for me as far as the CPU usage. I have a post about it already up when I first got SP1 and installed it last month....

Overall, I'm very happy with SP1. There are some minor bugs that have since been ironed out, but that's to be expected. You cant fix a bunch of things and not expect something to fail...

At least from where I am sitting, I'm more then likely using a higher version of Vista then you, not to mention running higher end hardware as well.

I also have about 60-70gb of programs installed on my home PC.
