any chance we could get the little "in reply to_____" text back at the bottom of each post?

Not sure this software supports that.

I've always subscribed to the philosophy that you should quote whoever you are responding to....as it makes the conversation easier to follow..

I was gonna say pretty much the same thing. You can just quote the person or mention their.

The only time I don't do one of those is when the person I'm talking to, posted right above me.
