When I was in high school my hair was long. Like down to my shoulders. The thing then was to dress it black with chained wallets. Not to different from what they are doing now except for the make-up and whatever they put in their hair.
The thing I find most amusing is how sensitive these people are about the way they look. I mean, if you're going to be different you should expect people to ask questions. Not tuck your tail between your legs and run away.
I say f^ck what they care about, f^ck what they think they know about other people. Just cuz you dress a certain style don't mean sh~t about your life.....lol.

OK. Now I'm confused, because I thought that was the point. It was meant to say something about you. Clothing and the way we dress has always helped define who we are.
Yes, thats true. But what I'm saying is about how people expect say, punks to skate and vandalize. For goths, to hate god and believe in hell. You know, like that. If I go out and dress in a prep suit, it doesn't nessasarily mean I love jocks and crap.
i have been to a MANY manson shows wearing black nail polish, with my face and bald head painted brigth silver, with HATE on both forearms....wearing hundred dollar tommy jeans...i dont think brand names mean anything...
