No offense, but why would you switch from Firefox to IE8?

In IE8, right click in the empty area immediately to the right of the first (and only) tab. Click on "Menu bar".

Once the "File" "Edit" "View" etc. file bar comes up, click "File". One of the options in that menu will be "import and export".

In the pop up box, the default should be "Import from another browser". Click next.

Click the check box next to "Firefox". Click the "Import" button, and there ya go.

No prob. A lot of my stuff I do works great in firefox, but there are some that don't. So I use both programs and was wanting all favorites in each browser.

Thanks for the help, I will try that in the morning.

If a guy is going to get all the security updates Windows needs, IE is the way to go... If anyone is not doing the updates they are asking for boat-loads of problems... of course, YMMV

Sorry, but quality is not judged by the frequency of updates. If you'll notice, M$ rolls out updates all the friggin time for IExx. It's not new features, but rather, it's them covering their a$$es for security flaws.

In my book, FF and chrome are about equal right now. I find myself using both quite a bit. Personal computers in my home have had core files removed from IE's file system just so it can't be used. It's that bad in my eyes.
