Can't access pdf manuals
Hello. I am trying to open the pdf manuals listed under this thread : https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...e-manuals.html
I know this thread is from 2006, but who or what can grant me access ? Or is there a newer thread with active links ? Thanks |
Hmm...good question.....18 year old links that don't work anymore. Not entirely sure how to update those links. @IB Jason , any idea?
|
Well, considering the member that posted those links hasn't been here for 11 years..... about the only option I see is uploading them somewhere else.... Of course, that would imply that someone actually already had them available to upload...... Not sure what the legal ramifications there are... Technically, it's copyright material.....

I think HeyYou nailed the current situation. We offer the ability to upload attachments of a certain size directly to your post, but someone would need to have the original file as a starting point and it would need to be legal for us to host. Sorry we can't be of more help with recovering these particular files given they were hosted off-site on Google Drive.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I didn't know if the OP was hosting these himself, or merely pointing us to links contained within this forum.
I was just looking for the procedure to remove some interior trim pieces from Gen 1 Dakotas - someone here is looking for some pieces and I was planning on helping him out when I hit the junkyard. |

Think we should go through the FAQ sections and remove these threads to dead links or just wait till someone brings it up?

It's a good question! But yes, I agree the good outweighs the bad. However, if specific dead links are brought to everyone's attention, no harm in perhaps editing those out at that time.

Or noting that it's a dead link?
