Default 2002 Intrepid transmission problems

I have a 2002 Intrepid 2.7 Liter with about 149000 miles on it. Shortly afterwards the check engine light came on.
P 0562- Is it the altanator? Every few days lately I have to put the battery on the slow charger or the car won't turn over. If I drive for more than a few miles the radio will turnoff for a second or two before coming back on.
P 700 transmission control system light request
p 0841 trans fluid pressure sensor
p 1776 solenoid switch valve latch in rear postion
P 0442 p045 evap leak
I'm not much of a mechanic. What do you guys think? A local shop wanted 2200 dollars for a rebuild of the transmission. Also the oil light comes on at hot idle. What does that mean?

Check for corrosion on your battery terminals. You don't need your trans rebuilt but you do need to replace the solenoid pack which should take care of the code P0700. After that, have the codes erased and you're done.

Cheers,

I did check the corrosion on the terminals. That wasn't the problem. Is there anyway to check if the altanator is bad with out taking it out? I was thinkink about replacing the solenoid pack and the speed output sensors. Would that be enough to keep it from going in to limp mode?

this is wild, I too just purchased a 2002 dodge intrepid and the same thing happened to me, i bought the car 3days ago at 58880 miles w/o warranty fkin dealerships and sales reps, and today the check engine light came on ,read the codes had the same codes as you. Also the car started to almost overheat so i had to run the heater to not over heat while on the road. When i deleted the codes the car ran perfectly fine and the gauge on the temperature was fine, seems only when the light comes on the car acts up.

How much is it to change the solenoid pack?? i figured i had the issues today probably cause the car maybe just sat on the lot for months or whatever not really being test driven.

I also own a 2002 chrysler 300m, and at 87,000 miles replaced transmission lol

sorry bro seems like i jumped your thread on my first on introduction, your the first post that caught my eye, since i was looking for the same answer as you were lol.... hopefully we make through this and mopar quality products :/

fk it happened again this morning on the way to work, started raining a lil bit and the light came on. I felt that limp mode status again, why is it when i use the ODB CODE READER to delete the code the car drives fine until the stupid light comes up again
