2016 dodge journey radio issue

I installed a nav tv backup camera and gps system in it. Has the 4.3 screen and that all works fine but lately especially on cold mornings the radio plays but the screen is blank and cant get the heater to work. Then as you drive it it keeps pausing the radio and saying aux input detected also once it even changed stations by itself. Around here we have dealers with not so good reps so is there a software issue or some kind of recall anyone knows of???

You should have a warranty. You should use it.

i do. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I seen where couple people posted their radios wouldn't come on when first started-same as mine. But when I called the dealer(we have some weird dealers here and aggravates me dealing with them!) they acted like they never have seen this issue. I went through this 8 yrs or so ago on a mini van I had and the rolling locks were acting weird. Dealer(3 of them) kept telling me it was the auto start I had installed causing it. I myself diagnosed it as a bcm issue and come to find out there was a nation wide tbs on it. Dealers(all 3 of them!) failed to look for it when I took it in and I was charged diagnostic fees at 1 of the three dealers even though............it was under warranty. That is why I'm trying to get some info before I start this process to see if others can tell me if it needs a software update or this is a common issue and will be fixed
