Default LED High Mount Stop Light (3rd break light)

My 3rd brake light isn't working. I called the dealer and asked them how to replace it if it as a fuse or if I need to replace the LED assembly. They have no clue. Is anyone know if this is a fuse or if I need to replace the assembly if it's a fuse where is it. My son needs this working to take his driving test.

Check your owners manual.

As stated, your owners manual has info on fuses. You asked if there was a fuse and where is it.

OK thanks for your reply I'll look at the fuse Box and chart again to make sure I'm not missing something although it doesn't clearly say anything about a 3rd brake light fuse

I wouldn't expect to call a ANY shop and have them stop everything they're doing just to tell you how to fix something.

How about a year model, so we know which wiring diagram to look at?

Default 2013 Dodge Journey

After speaking with several people and checking as much as I could check I've come to the conclusion that this 3rd LED does not have a fuse. I was also told by Dodge that it doesn't have a fuse . I went and replace the LED and it still doesn't work sounds like a bigger problem. Not sure where to go next without having it tested.

There have been reports of the wiring harness going from the body to the lift gate getting pinched over time and chafing the insulation on the wiring. Have you verified voltage at the connector for the light?
