Default 2009 DODGE JOURNEY ac cold just in low speed

Hello everyone

My 2009 Dodge Journey (SXT) AC blows cool only on first and second speed! Any idea what's wrong with that?

Thank you. Do you know if I can check it free in any store? I hate to spend huge money in dealer again!

You will need to have it checked by a place that does work on air conditioning systems, does not have to be the dealer. You could go buy one of those "do-it-yourself" recharge kits (walmart, or any autoparts store) and try to fill it. But , if there is a leak, you will need to have it repaired properly.

Default compressor works for seconds and turns off and again!

I bought a recharge kit (A/C Pro) and tried to recharge the car. However, I noticed that the compressor turns off after some seconds and again turns on and so on. I even couldn't read successfully the gauge to see if it needs to be charged with gas! I noticed in AC fan speed level of 3 and 4, the compressor is always off, but in speed level of 1 and 2, it works for seconds and then turns off! What is wrong here?!
Is it related to ambient temperature? The place I'm living is super hot currently with around 100-105 degree during the day!

Take it somewhere and have it checked.
