Dodge Journey 2012 RT
no heat on passenger side vents in any selected modes
low miles but no more warranty so dealer is out.
dealer claimed they could not diagnose as communication with SUV on board not working.
i removed the clove box and could see 3 blend valves.
all ducts looked like they were not jammed but I still removed the blend valve that was operated by selecting auto.
it did move so I’m guessing that one is fin.I can feel the motors in the valves run when I place my hand in them and Air does divert.
Could 1 of the 3 blend valves control the left side temp and if so which one is it?
The dealer suggested a flush but how can a blocked or contaminated heater core reduce heat only to one side?
Rear heat is ok
That sounds like a real long shot
Any help would be great.
Thanks
