I own a Dodge Journey 2010. My keyfob does not insert into the ignition all the way, just the tip of it does. How can i fix this problem?

 

Replace the fob or the ignition.

 

OK, got key inserted, but no start. Overhead light on, light on mileage on. Turn key to on position, push brake and gearshift stuck in park. Also key stuck in ignition. Any suggestions?

 

take foot off brake after throwing it into park of course . push break again, jiggle turn key a bit. every once in awhile like on a hill might have to set parking brake too also with brakes- applied try to turn/ move steering wheel as this sometimes unlocks
it when it is stuck, too
