In the CLUSTER itself

Are they making payments on the car to a lot ?

Yes red light is in the cluster.

Yes making payments to the "Poor credit lending agency" attached to JD Byrider.

Auction class vehicles bought cheap, spit polished and sold for thousands above book value at sky high interest rates in the upper teens in an effort to "help" those struggling with bad or no credit.

80 milliamps?
Is this mainly a starting issue? Have you tried shifting to neutral and starting or neutral back to park when this happens?

My speculation is that there is a tracker installed tapped to the datalink circuit and that is now disabled with that fuse pulled.

The issue is a battery drain issue. Since returning the vehicle to the owner it has started on all but one occasion, but it's getting cold outside and the battery does not have much reserve. The one occasion it stared first thing and drove to gas station where it did not start. It's said to have a slow crank and boosting it gets it started. I did mention the neutral thing, but as I believe I noted earlier this vehicle sat pretty much all summer with a totally dead (new) battery so I'm sure it is shot. Next step is to get a fresh new battery in place when the owner's budget allows and see what develops.

If I had a nickel. That what I was getting at when I asked if they were making payments. It might be one of those that IS the DLC as a 6 to 8 inch jumper.
