Once you plugged it back in and it sensed it reading it turned the light off, so that is normal. If you check the codes it will show that it had and error for 50 key cycles. If you disconnect the battery it will clear the code, but it will show that the battery has been disconnected for the next 50 key cycles. But your good to go, so don't worry to much.
