Unhappy Esp/bas

I just got my 05 Magnum back from the third trip to the dealer. The light still comes on intermittently and the dealer says the only way to fix it is to install a new ($2000) steering column. This episode started when the plastic turn signal canceling tab broke, they replaced the "clock spring" and when I picked up the car the light was on. The replaced it again, same problem. Took it back today and they replaced some other switch and the problem didn't go away. I think there has got to be a better solution than me spending another 2 grand. Any suggestions?

There is a TSB for the Magnum for this problem. ask ur dealer to look up
STAR CASE:
S1008000025

the problem is spacing issue when they install the clock spring when u did the turn signal, all they have to do is pull the clock spring as far UPWARD as possible instead of tighting it down all the way.
