Default 2005 Magnum SXT V-6 Thermostat replacement
I am wondering if anyone has had to do a thermostat replacement and if it is possible for a non-mechanic to do it

Yes. It is not that hard. Look up some videos on you tube.

I had to change out one on my daughters car, man what a pain in the butt. Just be careful when you go to tighten it back up not to break of the stud in the block like I did.
Hard to imagine how many people that do not know what a right angle drill is.
