This was originally my dads car. We've been using it on a very limited basis since he passed away a number of years ago. It's an R/T model with the 5.7L engine and has 36k miles on in. Recently, it's been very difficult to full the gas tank. The pump clicks off almost immediately, and you have to almost use an eye dropper to get fuel into it. There are no codes stored. I've done some troubleshooting to ensure the fill pipe was not collapsed and I removed the two hoses from the evap solenoid but it's still the same. I've looked in the service manual and I'm suspecting the evap canister which appears to be located above the right rear wheel. Does anyone have experience with this type of issue and could you recommend anything I should try before pulling it apart and changing the evap canister?
