Hey everybody, I am a newby. I have a passion for all muscle cars and Iam partial to the Chargers. I currently do not own a dodge, but I am surround by them in my family. My grandma owns a mint 70 charger that has won plenty first in show, My uncle owns a 68 Charger 440, and is currently reviving it from sitting too long. My two best friends own a 98 dakota and a 2003 Ram and there father is almost finished restoring his 71 Challenger, all numbers matching, the only thing that is not OEM is the carb while he looks for someone to rebuild the original. My current pride that I am working on is a 23 Model T w/a Chevy small V8.And I will post pics as soon as I get a hold of a scanner to copy the pics I have. I am despritally seeking a copy of the Vanishing Point version that was made for tv by 20th century fox. It aired about five years ago and I have lost my copy.

I actually found a way to have it burned on to a tape by a company who stores the original. But it cost $250 to edit all commercials out and to get copyright permission. I was hoping to find someone who taped it off the tv that could make me a copy.

I have it recorded on VHS from the one time they aired it, but unfortunately I was stupid and used the slow long play so the quality is low and the cable connection wasn't the greatest(it has a slight bit of breakup/fuzz to it). Check E Bay, I have seen people selling copies of it on there before.

I will definately check ebay, thank you for your help. If I don't find one soon I may ask for a copy of the one you have. I liked the movie enough to put up with the quality.

I have the original uncut R-rated "Vanishing Point" on laser disc. I used to be able to copy laser discs onto VHS, but I haven't tried that with my old L-player in a while.

If you've really gotta, gotta have it, email me and I'll give it a shot.

ntchurs was looking for the remake that was made for TV and was aired on Fox a few years ago(starring:Viggo Mortensen as Kowalski). It was never sold or transfered on any medium. Your refering to the original 1971 version which will be on DVD soon. Thank you for the thought though. I wish that they would put the remake out on DVD.

How are you doing? Its been awhile since I visited the forum. I have been looking on ebay and everywhere else and have been unsuccessful looking for Vanishing. If you are still willing to burn me a copy of yours I would be stoked. E-mail me as to what I can do to make this happen. Hope to hear from you. Thanks again.
