2002 Neon SE - OBD Weirdness (Yep P0441 Again)
I have a 2002 Neon SE. Been mostly okay sofar (other than the computer failing completely within 2 weeks of getting it but other than that no issues that have resulted in more than a quick trip for an oil change or such).
However recently the OBD has been occasionally coming up with a P0441 error. Only happens when I park in one place at work. After 200 or so miles it goes away. I've had this happen 3 times this summer - and its only triggered by warm days. I've checked the gas cap and the pipes nearby and all looks good and fits are clear. Wouldn't know where to look for the next bits down the chain.
So, should I worry? I'm still getting 24-28mpg which is basically what this car has always got. Runs fine and as I say the error clears with 200 miles. And I only get this error triggered when I park in one particular space on hot days. Never triggered it elsewhere after it clears.
