Mine is a mid-14 car. Unfortunately the last time I had it at the track I ran low-16. I couldn't understand why I lost 2 sec.+. I was babying it a little due to a slightly loose AC/power steering belt, but still not enough for low-16. The Neon R/T's ran at least high-15 dead stock and here mine was turning low-16. A week later I was cleaning the pedal covers I had made sure I put on before the show/drag race where I ran so slow. I pushed down on the gas and found my problem. The pedal cover on the gas pedal was too low and was hitting the console/exhaust hump and stopping the pedal from ever reaching full-throttle. I was pissed, I made sure they were on to look good at the show and I should have left it off. I have taken it off since I found that out and when I run it next year it should maybe be in the high-13 range, because I plan to do a little more to it.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

There was a Mopar magazine article that I read on their rental and abuse of a 2.0L DOHC Neon. They eventually doubled the horsepower with a 150 hp nitrous shot and blew up the air box. It was a funny and informative article on how to rent, nitrous, blow-up and return the car.LOL
