RE: Starter Relay
I wonder if it's still under warranty. Sounds like an electrical issue?
|
RE: Starter Relay
No its not it was bought used from an automax without warranty
|
RE: Starter Relay
Starter not grounded properly??? What about the fuse?
|
RE: Starter Relay
the relay itself is the only problem i've had it make a clicking noise when i turn the car off that i'm told is from the relay if that helps... its not under warranty so should i takeit to the dodge dealer down here or would it be the same to just take it to a mechanic? will the dealer charge to look at it since its not under warranty?

RE: Starter Relay
I would NOT take it to the dealer. Take it to a mechanic you trust and know, if you can. Ask some people if they know a mechanic they trust.

ORIGINAL: neon chic the relay itself is the only problem i've had it make a clicking noise when i turn the car off that i'm told is from the relay if that helps... its not under warranty so should i takeit to the dodge dealer down here or would it be the same to just take it to a mechanic? will the dealer charge to look at it since its not under warranty? Go the way das said. It is cheaper and they will work on it properly. |
RE: Starter Relay
thnx guys! i figured they would charge way too much they want$88 per hour the only problem is its really hard to find a good mechanic down here but thank you!!

RE: Starter Relay
if you have to take it somewhere, take it to a corporate garage. dealers charge to much for parts and privet owned are known for fixing whats not broke.

RE: Starter Relay
