Not my choice for an intake but.....I can honestly admit that at one point in time, I had one of them there HAI's too.

At any rate I do however like the look of the muffler.

that HAI (LOL) is an interim idea.. i want to get real CAI for sure.. dont think that intake is a permanent solution...

 

If yours is a 5-spd., I think the Iceman CAI can be modified to fit you SOHC. I believe the same can be done if you have an automatic. You'll have to check on that though to be certain.

Yeah the Iceman intake can be made to fit.

 

A couple of my suggestions would be to drop teh EGR valve completely and block it off. There are a few places you can get the block off kit. Mopar sells it, you can get it at the dealer. And there's this guy, http://www.neongoodies.com/ that also sells them. Second, I'd upgrade you TB if you are MTX, the MTX's TB is 49MM where an ATX TB is 52MM. If you are ATX, you can go 55MM.

You can however get teh 55 for the MTX as well. YOu can also get a 60MM TB for both as well.

I currently have a 55MM on my car now and I have a 62MM for it that will go on as soon as my manifold is done.

 

I am going to work on getting a throttle body for sure.

Of course its a MTX

I have found the ICEMAN I want. Its about 200 bucks.. I gotta wait on that... im not sure if I am going to do it this winter.. it will have 20 inches of clearance... and we get snow like a mad man up here... so im not sure. Sure would get a ton of cold air though lol

It's kind of hard to tell you what mods to do if we don't know what direction you are planning on going with the car.

If It were me? I'd go with a turbo. Which, is what I'm doing.
