2008 6.7 Check Engine Light

I have a 08 2500 6.7L that just turned 13,000 miles, that I bought new in March 2008.
I have had in the shop 3 times for the computer to be reflashed, and just last week it was in for the turbo to be cleaned and computer reflashed (fourth time)again.
Has anybody esle had this problem?
There are site's about this issue and Lemon law- any feed back on this?

My CEL has gone on several times, mostly in the first six months after I got it (May 2007). Sometimes the light would stay on for a week or more at a time, but it always goes out by itself. I have not seen my CEL turn on in the last six months. If I was you I would not worry about it unless you experience drivability problems in addition to the CEL.

Do you do a lot of stop-and-go driving, or mostly short trips? That seems to cause more trouble than anything.

My my wife makes (4) 7 mile runs a day plus a couple of 25 mile 60MPH runs a week. No city driving to speak of. 4 CEL in 10 months, my 2003 jeep has had a CEL once. If the dodge CEL comes on again by March I am looking into the Lemon law.
My main bitch is the time we are spending making appointments and the 60 mile RT to take the truck in and waiting half a day for the corrections to be made. I know WAA WAA WAA- but i am pissed.

Simple to solve. Delete the DPF and block off the EGR. No more issues, and better mileage at the same time...

is your dpf getting full? just wondering, mine got 100% last winter and dealer cleared it and put in new tsb for computer. told me i should get more idle time, and hasn't been a problem since, even idling all day in -40. any chance they make changes in programming for Canadian vs. American models? just seems like you guys are having way more problems.

I have the same vehicle and used to have the same problems. Dodge replaced the dpf, catalyst convertor, and turbocharger and told me to run it with the exhaust brake all the time(Specially in town driving). Its been 3 months now since they fixed it, and no more CEL issues. Hope it stays that way for a long time.

I've heard that the 6.7's dont like being pussy footed around. they do best under frequent load, towing etc...

I know it dosent help here but I have 105k on my 5.9... trouble free... daily driven and has only seen a trailer 3x...
