Hey, where's my swaybar?

I noticed my ass end sings & sways a little more than it should so I took a peak at the rear to see the swaybar and found there is none... WTF? this is supposed to be a heavy duty truck, with no rear sway? what's up with that?

do the 3500's have rear sways?

As far as I know, they're still optional. For the 2nd gens they came with the camper package. Not sure about the 3rd gens.

it can hang where ever it needs to as long as it's there... do you know if the 3500's have them stock?

I have a '05 Quad cab 2 wheel drive diesel 6-speed dually with the larimie trim. Has every option except auto trans and NO SWAYBAR. I agree. Running empty it seems a little squrrily sometimes. With my fifth wheel, it has no sway, although at 13,000+ pounds and a hitch weight of 3000lbs, it is firmly planted in the pavement! I believe there is a sway bar in my future also.

They must all have camper packages (or a package that included camper upgrades) then...because they weren't part of the stock suspension package ;) I can't even find them in the parts book.

All the information I come across says that the 3rd gens should all have them though. [&:]

It wasn't on every 2500 2nd gen. But if I am thinking right, and every one I've seen so far, every 3500 2nd gen has them. I have seen them on some stock 2500, but not sure if it is a year issue or an option.

If you are looking in an actual MOPAR parts cataloge..(I use efiche) it is figure 17-210, item #1.
Standard on all 3/4 and 1 Ton. Different part number for 4x4 or 4x2.

EDIT: 2001MY
