Nobody likes the pic?
I called the guy today, he said they've "been getting 10 e-mails a day" on that truck. Which makes me wonder why they've had it for over a month.
Maybe he tells everyone he isn't flexible on the price like he did to me initially.
I think I may try to look at it this weekend but I'm not sure. I certainly want to get there to test drive it before it gets sold.

GO FOR IT. The truck is quite rare, I was looking for a 5 speed, but had to settle for an automatic. (I made out anyway, because it had a gear vender OD and Banks Int. Exh. + a Transferflow fuel tank).
I love my 98 12 Valve, the quad cab with the rear doors is great, with the earlier quad cab 12 Valves, you had to move the seat forward to get to the rear seat. You get none of the early 24 valve problems, which can be considerable, esp, if you wind up with one that has the series 51 block.

Heh...going to look Saturday.
Hey, got a question...when I was asking about Powerstrokes they said you should check the amount of whatever the additive is in the coolant that prevents cavitation (and you could buy strips at auto parts stores to do so) to make sure the truck had been properly maintained. Should I be checking for this in the cummins as well?

nope. . .but I will say that over time the radiator will clog, something you cannot prevent, but doesnt take much at a radiator shop to clean it out. . .
realy the only problem with that model truck is they didnt make enough of them.
when it comes to power strokes, you have to be carefull to use the correct oil or the injectors will die. this is not a problem with Cummins.

Eeeenteresting...
I checked the listing on autotrader again today. The dealership lowered their asking price by $1000 and changed their listing.
Now they aren't going on and on quite as much about how rare it is, and they say there's some rust at the bottom of the driver's side door.
More leverage for me I suppose!
