Default RE: HID coversion kit

I read a thread about this on another forum last year. The guy who posted it was all fired up about an HID conversion kit he had just installed. Simple and between 2 and $300. Simple install system seemed well designed. It was by Helios or Xenon. He ended up getting some heat about the fact that the headlight lenses on the Rams are not designed to properly reflect HID light the way it is designed to be projected. The point was that it put out a tremendous amount of high intensity light that blinded other drivers because of the design of the stock optics on his truck.
Hope this helped a little

I just installed a kit on my 2004 2500 and I had to wire them to a toggle switch. Dodge for some reason put the head lights on a independent relay system that only puts out 3Volts, and you need 9 Volts for them to run. Other then that I love them!!
