different answers same question
Ok guys me and a friend have identical trucks with a few minor variations. They are a 2006 mega 4wd of course diesel (is there another engine). Under the hood is a sticker that reads to grease front driveshaft at each oil change. My friend and i keep getting different answers from some of the same dealers. So far we have been told
1. it takes a special tool but we dont have it
2. it doesnt need grease (why is there a sticker saying to do so)
3. and only grease if you take it apart.
What isit that needs grease, what is the special tool and why would i take it apart otherthan the grease failing from not greasing it?

Requires grease every 5,000 miles, it does require a special adapter to your grease gun. The Napa pargt number for the grease gun fitting can be found under the DIY section as well for greasing the front axle.. It also has pictures of where to find the fitting.

Tommy.... thanks for info could you email it to me stewtina@sbcglobal.net we are little behind in grease like to the tune of 50,000 miles. also is that a diesel GC we want one but we are curious as to fuel mileage. we are willing to give up the speed of a charger R/T with all the options for one

here is the thread https://dodgeforum.com/m_487238/tm.htm
it may take a little fenagling to get the needle fitting in there right, just keep working with it, it will go. if it doesnt go in easy take a philips head screwdriver and see if you can get some movement on the zerks fitting.
