There aren't bleed valves on the injectors, you'll hafta unscrew the whole injector itself.Just crack it open, don't totally uncscrew it. When yo start to see fuel comming out, tighten it back up.

Look in this picture ... see the gold lines going allover the place and then finally screwing into the head? Those are your injector lines. Start bleeding them by unscrewing the first one, which is the one closest to the front of your truck.

i just went out and guessed what htey were....i guessed right....and i bled out number 1 and number 3......bumped it, waited, cranked it over.....sputter....then ka-effin-vroom!!! shes runnin tip top shape now. thanks a bunch mayfield and the rest of you guys.....now im gonna take it out and see if it still smokes when hammered down

If it still has problems, it is more than likely your lift pump and I wouldn't drive it until it is replaced.

yeah i'll definitely replace the lift pump next....im not going anything over the top as far as performance, but instead of dodge's million dollar replacement into the fuel tank, what's a good in-line lift pump that i could install without much $$ involved and something easy enough for me to do? lol

UPDATE: Sweet Mary Mother of God!!!!! Not only did that fuel filter eliminate my smoke problem, it gave that truck power that I've never ever known it to have!!!!
