welcome to DF...
diesels are an awesome way to go, tons of power, more effecient than the gassers and they last alot longer before needing a rebuild. CTD is an awesome choice imo but I'm biases lol
thanks for the info guys...my search continues....i found a 04 with 91k and they are asking 18k for it...it has rims, tires,n a grill guard...one of the better deals i have found
4x4 is the only way to go. Even if you dont use it for off road. There is always the just in case. And lets say you decide one night to go to the track. Its nice to launch in 4 wheel high and then switch back to prevent excess wheel spin.
welcome to the forum, jan '07 i bought my first diesel, it is the 5.9 and i have done quite a lot to it, except chip it, when the warranty runs out i will do that. the truck runs great, the power is there at all times(we are nearing the end of a four month trip and i am packing a nine and half foot camper, this puts me pretty much to my weight limit). we are averaging eleven to twelve mpg according to the lieometer, when i did a crunch of numbers it was out maybe a half mile to the gallon. good luck on your choice, but for me, diesel all the way.
