Default exhaust brake ?

Hello everyone, I am new to forum, and to cummins, and have a question about using the exhaust brake. I live in a place where every road is a hill or moutain road so I use it alot. My question is will this hurt anything? even tho I'm not always towing anything ?

Thanks !

You WANT to run it 24/7 because it will extend the life of your service brakes AND it will keep your turbo from getting gunked up.
