I suppose it could. If I recall that was what was happening with the guy my fil was dealing with.

So you already tried to replace the pcm? And your problem didn't go away ? Does your tranny seem to be hunting for gears at high or low speed?

no lower or upper gears in auto 2000 dodge friend said grounds are prob.

Hi all. If it helps, mine had the same symptoms. What I could observe is that anything electronic such as locking or downshifting to 1st or O/D button works, neither A/C or the RPM and speed gauges in the instrument cluster. All at the same time. It'd easy for me to surmise that it's a faulty ground. Checking tomorrow.
